Rhinology Advanced Practice Providers Section (RAPPers)

Mission Statement

Advanced practice providers in otolaryngology are essential partners in delivering high-quality, accessible rhinology and ENT care. The Section for Rhinology Advanced Practice Providers (RAPPers) will incorporate Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants as they work to advance the field of rhinology and otolaryngology. The RAPPers will provide a community for APPs to advance their skills and knowledge within the field and share experiences that may advance the initiative of APPs in Otolaryngology. More specifically, the RAPPers Section will help the ARS to:

  • Fully recognize and utilize the resources and talents of APPs in rhinology in their efforts to advance the purposes of the ARS.
  • Foster research collaborations and mentoring for APPs
  • Promote the inclusion of APPs in educational programming and planning for conferences and curriculum updates
