RHINOLOGY FELLOWSHIP

INTRODUCTION

The ARS established the Rhinology Fellowship Match in 2006. The goal of this formalized match process is to coordinate fellowship appointments, thus relieving the pressure of uncoordinated appointments and forced early choices. Therefore, the ARS sponsors the match and is responsible for enforcing the rules of the match.

For more information about the match process, please go to https://www.sfmatch.org and follow the links for the Rhinology Match. Registration for the match may also be performed at that site as well.

In the spring of 2016, the ARS established the Rhinology Training Council (RTC) to provide oversight and affirmation of programs offering "Neurorhinology - Advanced Rhinology" training. The RTC in no way impacts resident training in “routine” rhinologic disease, does not preclude an institution from having a basic “rhinology” fellowship, nor does it provide oversight of any such program.
