This course is designed to update participants on current approaches and innovative progress in otolaryngology. Technological and professional aspects of otolaryngologic care are undergoing rapid changes, making it difficult for practicing physicians to stay abreast of current best practices. The symposium is designed to address practice gaps in the areas of rhinoplasty, and endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery. Gaps to be addressed include the latest research and treatment related to:
- Learn pearls from a World Renown Faculty!
- Use of 3-D and morphing software to determine optimal rhinoplasty surgical goals
- Nuances with strategic graft placement
- Appropriate material selection and technique for CSF repair
- Endoscopic skull base and sinus surgery – inflammatory sinus surgery, endoscopic approaches to the central and lateral skull base, endoscopic skull base reconstruction
Presenters across multiple disciplines will describe a complete approach to patient care. Each session will include an opportunity for audience participation. Participants will gain knowledge and skills that, when applied in practice, will support improvement in outcomes in their patients.
