New surgical techniques that utilize endoscopic and powered instrumentation now offer relief to chronic sinusitis sufferers.

Chronic sinus disease is troublesome and frustrating to patients. Today, available technology is also faster, gentler, and more thorough. Patients can expect quicker recovery, shorter operating time, and lower overall costs.

Current state-of-the-art powered instrumentation is a remarkable advancement in the care and cure of problem sinusitis.

Up recently, sinus surgery has required a "snare and tear" technique. Now, minimally invasive, powered instrumentation provides access to each and every sinus. The new technique delicately removes diseased tissue while preserving the normal sinus lining. This more completely restores normal sinus function.

Surgery is performed as an outpatient with no facial bruising and no nasal packing. Return to work, leisure, school, and social activities within a few days may be anticipated.
